| Title | Upper and Mid Barwon River Fish Monitoring Program Report 2026 |
| Description |
The aim of the study was to collect information on the fish communities in the mid to upper reaches of the Barwon River, to establish a baseline dataset for future comparisons and to investigate differences, if any, in abundance and diversity of fish populations upstream and downstream of the Boundary Creek confluence. An additional aim was community engagement, to inform relevant stakeholders on the progress and methodology of the project and to provide some ecological information on species collected during the surveys, including threatened species such as the Little Galaxias.
